Curriculum

Abeka

We use the Abeka curriculum for our K-12th grades.  We love the foundation Abeka provides for our students.

Teaching Textbooks

We use Teaching Textbooks for Math for our secondary (7th-12th) grade students. Teaching Textbooks utilizes online learning with individualized instruction, interactive lessons, and teacher guided assistance.  Our students love the ability to work online as well as in group and individual learning sessions.

Graduation Requirements

English

4 credits, with major concentration in composition, reading for information, and literature

Math

4 credits, one of which must be Algebra I or its equivalent, or a higher-level mathematics course

Science

3 credits in Science, two of which must have a laboratory component

social

studies

1 credit World History, 1 credit American History, .5 credit American Government, .5 credit Economics

Foreign

Language

Not required for high school graduation, but 2 consecutive years in same language is required for admission into state universities

Personal

finance

.5 credit in Personal Financial Literacy

1 credit in Physical Education

Electives

7.5 credits in Elective courses
